Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need X-rays?
X-rays give us a good overview of the condition of your teeth, roots, and jaw. They can reveal problems such as bone infections, decay between teeth, and areas of abnormal growth that a visual oral exam might miss.
Why do my gums bleed when I brush or floss my teeth?
Bleeding gums can be a sign of periodontal, or gum disease. Gum disease is a serious problem that can result in tooth and bone loss, so we recommend making an appointment as soon as possible for evaluation and treatment. Learn more…
How often should I have my teeth cleaned?
The American Dental Association recommends you come in for a cleaning at least twice a year. Regular visits, combined with regular brushing and flossing, will help make sure your smile always looks its best.
How much do you charge?
The cost of treatment varies depending on the treatment you receive. We encourage payment by cash, check, or credit card, and we offer a five-percent discount to patients who pay on the day of service. We also accept most major insurance plans and will file claims on your behalf. Third-party financing is available through CareCredit, a respected source of interest-free financing and flexible monthly payment plans.
At what age should my child start receiving dental care?
We recommend that children come in for their first dental visits when they are three years old.
Do you make any special accommodations for seniors?
We offer a ten-percent senior discount.
