John Mettler, DDS

Dr. John Mettler is from Cedar Rapids, IA. He received his B.A. in Food Science and Technology from Iowa State University in 2015. Then he attended the University of Iowa to earn his D.D.S. in 2019. John has wanted to be a dentist since kindergarten. His passion for dentistry continues to grow to best support his patients.

Outside the office, John likes to stay busy with a variety of activities. Some of his favorites include fishing, golf, running/working out, and traveling when possible. As a Minnesota transplant he is happy to call Rochester home, but is still an avid Cyclone and Hawkeye fan. He enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering at the Good Samaritan Dental Clinic.

John’s parents, Bob and Cindy, live in Cedar Rapids, IA. He has an older sister, Allison, who is a veterinarian in Nebraska, and a younger brother, Mark, who is a funeral director in Red Wing, MN.
